I know I'm late with this comment, but want to add my input. As a senior citizen, I have voted for president since the President Kennedy/Richard Nixon election. On quite a few occasions, the candidate for whom I voted did not win. In this past election, while I hoped and prayed that my candidate would win, I was fully prepared for the eventuality that he would not. Granted, I would have been disappointed - even verbally accusatory about "voting machines, vote manipulation and the like, but I would have lived with the results as I did in both of the last two national elections. This, after all, is the United States of America and our system does allow for self-centered, ego-centric, power-hungry schemers to rise to power. While I don't agree with it, I accept it because it also allows for the possibility of a good, highly intelligent person of integrity and vision who has the will and the ability to see and weigh all sides of an issue before making a decision. Therefore, I would have to allow a few days for my anger to subside and then work even harder toward the next time.
